GSIS could not be more delighted with our May 2015 IBDP results. We would like to congratulate our graduating class for their outstanding dedication and commitment to both their academic studies and their application to all aspects of the core of the diploma. The graphs and table below show summary information.
IBDP Results in the GSIS context
Data published in the press and on various websites clearly shows that GSIS continues to be a leader in HK teaching and learning. In order to put the data in context the following should be noted:
- GSIS offers a broad range of academic subjects, allowing students to follow their interests and talents within individualised programmes of study
- Many IB Diploma schools in HK offer alternative programmes at Years 12 and 13, with only the strongest students doing the IB Diploma. In some cases less than 20% of the students take the IB Diploma. In 2015, GSIS entered 100% of students for the full IB Diploma.
- These results can be seen as particularly strong given that this is our first cohort of IBDP students.
The following graphs and table show a summary of statistics:

Percentage of students achieving the IB Diploma
Percentage of students achieving a 30+, 35+ and 40+ IB Diploma points
