Fresh year - fresh faces!
As with every new school year comes a big batch of new students joining GSIS. Our fresh joiners of the ESD and GSD were welcomed by our Principal, Mr Weghoff, and our Chair of the Boards, Mr Müksch - as well as our 2019-20 Prefects, who gave all of them an introductory tour around campus.

The number of students scoring the full 45 IB points has increased from four to five. Big congrats to Rachel (Class of '19) on this big achievement, joining Sophia, Arista, Jocelyn and Philip in our record books - along with all of last year's Y13 students, who collectively secured us the top 5 spot worldwide! ...

She may be out of school - but she's still making waves!
One of our recent graduates, Jasmine (Class of 2019), has been chosen as a finalist at this years Outstanding Student Artist Awards!
We encourage our whole community to go support and check out her art at the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre (details in the poster below) - with the big prize giving ceremony on 24th August.

BIG NEWS! After a new round of calculations, it's been announced that the average #IB score at #GSIS has increased to 41 points. This puts us in the #Top5 scoring IB schools #worldwide! A fantastic achievement that each and every one of our Y13s can be proud of! Well done!

GSIS UPDATE: We are pleased to advise that the traffic systems have now returned to normal. All bus services and the usual school routine will resume at the Peak campus tomorrow, 14th June 2019.
Should things change, an SMS and email will be sent before 6am tomorrow morning.
13-Jun: Due to traffic disruptions in Admiralty and Central all classes in GSIS PEAK campus are cancelled today. Students and staff attending the PEAK are not required to go to school. PFL campus will be OPEN for all classes today.
