General Information on the Ladybirds
The EKG2 Class is taught by qualified teachers (native English speakers). In EKG2 we follow the British National Curriculum.
Our Language program is phonics based. Children are taught to recognize the letters of the alphabet and the sounds they make and to write them neatly using Nelson Handwriting program. Pre-reading skills are developed and sight words are used. Oral language skills are developed through creative play, story telling and Show and Tell.
We use the discovery based Heineman Math program. Children will become familiar with number recognition, formation and correspondence to 20; measurement; 2 and 3D shapes, sorting, matching; addition and subtraction to 5; money; position and movement.
