Some of the significant benefits of the GSIS Alumni Association:

· Facilitating correspondence between graduates; joining the Alumni Association provides an opportunity to keep in touch with classmates professionally and personally.

· Facilitating correspondence between graduates and the school community; we would like you all to keep us informed of your job changes, promotions, marriages, births, achievements, milestones or news and we will spread the word to the GSIS community.

· Promoting alumni events and reunion parties; in addition to the annual alumni reunion in Hong Kong we also organise other informal events and gatherings on a monthly basis.

· Offering networking resources, such as localised alumni events for the graduates who have left Hong Kong.

· Providing a channel for proper representation of alumni views and suggestions.

· Establishing a network of professional contacts. Using our directory you can search for alumni within a specific area of interest or geographical location. We can also help organise forums and offer career assistance, such as informational interviews and placement advice.

· Ensuring a lifetime commitment to academic and professional development. We can also provide information and advice on further studies.

· Offering opportunities to alumni who wish to volunteer their time and/or resources in supporting the school. We welcome alumni to volunteer to give talks on career related issues to current students, set up a mentoring scheme, assist us in developing the Alumni Association further, or to help out on the alumni beer stall at the annual school Christmas Bazaar.
